Corian® worktops for a John Lewis kitchen design

The contemporary design features sleek black cabinets and a range of inbuilt kitchen appliances. A custom-built Corian ® worktop and splashback system was required to tie the design together.

Whitehall templated, designed and fabricated the project’s Corian ® elements, before installing each component part at the customer’s home.

The Corian ® kitchen surface design included:

– Splashback behind the hob

– Corian ® sink in Glacier White including a waterfall edge

– 6mm round edge detail with a square finish underneath

– Upstand to seamlessly cover the wall join

– Integrated windowsill

To contrast the darker units, the customer chose Silver Birch Corian ®. The finished worktops look elegant and modern, while being extremely practical to maintain. The surfaces require no varnishing and the seamlessly integrated splashbacks and upstand will make them easy to keep clean.
